1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Flowstay marketplace and hospitality management platform, including the website at flowstay.ng and related applications (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Flowstay (“Flowstay”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account, booking a stay, listing a property, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Companies may invite team members with roles (owner, admin, manager, staff, cleaner); the company owner is responsible for managing those members and their access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or expose other users to harm.
3. The marketplace
Flowstay connects guests with hosts who list accommodations. Listings are provided by hosts, and Flowstay acts as a limited agent for processing bookings and payments between guests and hosts. We do not own or operate listed properties and do not guarantee their condition, legality, or suitability, except as expressly stated.
Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, holding any permits or registrations required for short-term letting in their jurisdiction, and honoring confirmed bookings. Guests are responsible for complying with house rules and applicable laws during their stay.
4. Bookings, payments, and cancellations
Bookings may require host approval or be available via Instant Book. Corporate customers may request multi-property bookings, which are invoiced according to the payment terms shown at checkout or on the issued invoice.
Cancellation terms are shown on each listing before you book. Payouts to hosts follow the schedule described in the Host payout settings and applicable platform policy.
5. Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by scraping, circumventing security controls, uploading unlawful content, harassing other users, or using the community feed to spam or defraud. Content you post remains yours; however, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it solely to operate the Platform.
6. Verification and KYC
Hosts and, in some cases, guest companies must complete identity verification before certain features unlock. Verification results may be shared with counterparties as a trust signal (for example, a “Verified host” badge). See our Privacy Notice for how verification documents are handled.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flowstay’s aggregate liability arising out of your use of the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) the total service fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) ₦50,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
8. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved by good-faith negotiation first; failing that, by the courts of competent jurisdiction in Lagos, Nigeria.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
